Those Days Will Soon Be Over
i always told myself it wouldn't last forever. i never expected it to end so soon, but starting on friday i am quitting smoking cigarettes.
i do love 'em to death, and to be totally clear my quitting has nothing to do with my health (that's been very low on my list of concerns for a long time... starting with my diet). as some of you may know, i'm working on getting my license. well, we decided that wasn't going fast enough so now i'm sitting in a class for it that'll be running for the next few weeks. i'll be sitting with all of the 16 year olds who are hoping to drive as early as possible... which is INCREDIBLY awkward.
i may seem like i'm going off topic but bear with me
when that's over with, granted if i pass my test, i will be handed a brand spanking new drivers license. but what's a drivers license with no car? well, here's where smoking fits in. my mom has been against my smoking since i started 3 years ago, and guess what? she finally devised a plan to make me quit for good. that's right,
I'MA BE GETTIN' A CAR!!!!!
:w00t:
so, starting on friday (end of the first week of school) i'm going to be mailing every tobacco product i own to a friend of mine who never got a birthday present from me. i'm hoping i'll be over the worst of it on monday, cause if quitting means getting a vehicle that'll most likely last me for the next decade, that's a price i'm willing to pay.
wish me luck, friends! no doubt i'll be dumping all of my problems with the withdrawal process here to vent my frustrati... I MEAN for your amusement.
don't feel like you have to give me advice, though the thought is appreciated i may end up reacting to such a thing in an explosive manner. if anything, just post pictures of cars when i start venting.
cheers
WISH ME LUCK!
