Thoughts on weapon morphing

So I have been fighting without flourishes and blocking my brains out trying to get a really unique looking sword. (was hoping for a wide straight sword) Just went through my 3rd morph and it still became curved and saber-like. Im beginning to think that these acts of blocking, how you attack, etc. dont have as large of an effect on the weapon morphing process as we thing? Knowing PM, Possibly almost entirely randomly based on gamertag and not effected by blocking and the such?

Flourishes gives you a curved sword? We need to know what effect it all has on the appearance of the weapon. |:

I thought Flourishes made your weapon longer..
So if you don't flourish at all, you'd have a real short blade.

i think flourishes would make a wider blade, since they would be long powerful attacks, which big blades would do.
and small fast attacks are what thin blades do.

From what I know, Flourishes make your blade longer. This is so they have a larger range, and so take out more enemies. Makes sense.

as far as i can see, the guide says nothing in detail about morphing...
