I bold that my friend because i'm making a valid point.

I have a very eclectic taste in music with many different genres from many different eras, including orchestral,60's country, 70's punk, 80's nu wave, 90's Grunge and 00's Power Metal plus many many more, but ...

it's true...i mean they broke up 5 years ago and people still listen to them...they aren't popular for no reason

...but teenie bopper pop punk just doesn't fit in with the rest of it. admittedly, they have some very clever humourous lyrics, and when i first heard Dammit, i kinda liked it, and What's My Age Again gave me a bit of a laugh, and just because everybody else is still listening, doesn't mean i have to share the same opinion, enjoy it or listen to it!!!

someone telling me i have no good taste in music is an opinion, and i can accept that. i know what i listen to isn't everyone's cup of tea, or coffee, whatever you prefer, and that goes both ways, but to say it's a valid point, when it clearly is not, that was what annoyed me!!!
It wasn't a dig at u Led, it was merely a rebuttal to jugs not so 'valid point' about my taste in music. quoting u just made it easier for me to emphasize it.
