trader rescue

I'm playing tlc and wondering if anyone know what happens to the traders after you rescue them? do they set up shop somewhere else or start roaming or just disappear?

also, I took the kill the assassin mission right after the rescue and I keep getting attacked by the bandits in their camp. Is this part of the assassin mission or a result of the rescue mission?

It is not part of the assassin quest. If you leave them and try to go from the end of the quest straight through the camp again they are still enemies. Leave and come back, or fight through them.
