Treasure Hunters!

Okay well my Teacher/Instructor showed me this Awesome site for around the world!

What happens is that you locate where you live then you go find treasure!

I'm not very good at explainning things.. ill do it in steps.

Step 1: Go on website, find and locate where abouts you live, By typing in Postal Code, or go to that "Install" thingy and it will locate you by your IP Address, afterwards go google.maps, it should be near your degrees of location.
Step 2: Look on the map and you MIGHT see alot of all these images/legends, THOSE are The treasure!
Step 3: Click on the one you would like to do, once you have done that, Decrpyt the hint, if you want too. Print off the sheet.
Step 4: Get in a car, bike, or just walk to where it is.

Its alot of fun! And what you do, when you find it, is you take something out and then you put somthing in and write a little message!

GPS would be REALLY handy.

Holy crap theres one just down the street from me! This is really cool! I looked at the map and hint and I bet I know exactly where it is.

I'm tempted to go find it now, but Im sure the police will take interest in a teenager snooping around in the bushes at 1am. But its just.... RIGHT THERE litterally just a few houses down.

I know! Its awesome right! There was one down my Bush/Woods and then hiding up in a tree! Aweeeeesome!

And what else we can is Post what we found, how long it took us and where it was.. type of thing.

It'd be very interesting to hear from different countries!

Woah creepy, there was an episode of law and order today that had geocaching on it.

Hahah! Look at TJ go! Hes eager!

When i found my one, I found a Marble, Plastic Spider, Cards, little toys, Un-used plaster. and I put in a Key ring with a note on it.

Wow, I was just looking at the map and these things are all over the place! The one I tryed to find has been there since 2004. I know what I'm doing tomorrow. Thanks for pointing this stuff out Scarecrow.

Its all good!

Its quite fun, Im going to do this tomorrow too, with a friend of mine! I could make my own too. Haha!

Yeah well the good thing for me is that they're reasonably close AND I get to share a car with the family so, I got a pair of wheels.

Anybody find one yet? TJ?

Ooo! I got this for my iPod, and there is one down the block and across the road! I can even save for offline use and use as a compass to locate it. :O I'll have to do this sometime!

Ooooo what was in it???

And I'm not sure if I should bother with this one. It was placed in '05 and there has been a lot of construction in that area for the past 5 or so years. I might try and find it.

I'll probably do it tomorrow. Last time I left at this time, I was accused of smoking pot with my friends. :lol:
