umm....

if u choose to bring back your loved ones, wheres your mom and dad?

Re: umm....

no, they died because of that bandit u have to beat at beginning of the gam, thorg or something like that

Re: umm....

That option returns only the ones who died in the Spire's making that were close to you, I believe. Aside from that, they would have probably died from old age by then anyways.

Re: umm....

what? they were murdered, and i mean the loved ones, like your dog

Where in the game is it mentioned they were murdered?

It's never said outright. Hawk is right though about the perfect world. It is very heavily insinuated that Thag was responsible for the death of your parents. Finish the perfect world with as much time as you can before dark. Rose will stay with you and began talking about sorts of things that really fills in the story of your family.

I wouldn't give much weight to what was said in the Perfect (and aggravating) World. It could be that it takes all of your memories and melds them into a single time and place. But then, I've never spent more than the one day that is required there, so I can't say for certain. Perhaps I will this next time through.

Re: umm....

You don't need to spend more than one day. You just need to destroy all the bottles, kick all the chickens into the coop, and kill the beetles before the sun sets and Rose goes back to the house.

Re: umm....

No but you won't get Rose talking unless you do. You can spend 5 days there if you want. It starts over brand new every day though. All bottles are back, all chickens are out, and all beetles are alive.

And every time I have done that it was just before it got dark out. Spending more than a day is required. Although afterwords I am likely to scream random obscenities at my mother and kill random villagers, smash a few things in my room and then begin screaming and ripping my hair out because of how
AMAZINGLY INFURIATING THAT PART OF THE GAME IS!!!
*ahem*
If you didn't notice it already, I hate that particular part of the game. Luckily you can skip it by sleeping before told to.

I am not understanding why you are having to spend more than a day. You can not complete all the tasks, go to sleep, and then just make sure you leave in the middle of the night when it wakes, and go investigate. The only time I ever spent more than a day was the first time I played, because Rose told me to go back to bed, I never thought about going to investigate.
