I am not understanding why you are having to spend more than a day. You can not complete all the tasks, go to sleep, and then just make sure you leave in the middle of the night when it wakes, and go investigate. The only time I ever spent more than a day was the first time I played, because Rose told me to go back to bed, I never thought about going to investigate.

Because whenever I find that last bottle, Rose says one line and that is all. And all it is about is the fact that Thag exists.

Hmmm. Well when she started talking I stopped and faced her, and kept looking at her in first person view. Maybe you have to be paying attention to her, I am not really sure. I got a couple minutes of conversation from here, then it got dark.
