Bethesda just released a new screenshot on twitter for an upcoming announcement that will be revealed tomorrow, but many of the media sites are jumping at the idea that this is indeed a screenshot from the new Skyrim DLC (rumored to be called Dawnguard). One thing many will notice however is the obvious graphical advancement in this screen over the actual Skyrim graphics, leaving this as an unconfirmed guessing game. Though it could also be pre-rendered for a trailer, but only time will tell.. but speculations are that the man in the image is a Nord prisoner of the Thalmor.
Bethesda did say during the announcement of Kinect for Skyrim that they are "hard at work" on the first expansion pack DLC for Skyrim which as a reminder will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 for the first 30 days, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

What you put is what i thought if i'm honest. I thought that it would be kinect and then i further began to speculate that it could be something to do with Dishonoured. Thing is it looks nothing like Dishonoured . Hopefully this is Skyrim DLC because i want some more content to experience!

Been seeing them Dishonored guesses floating around as well and you're right, it looks nothing like Dishonored.. the art style and atmosphere are worlds apart. Either it's a pre-rendered shot from a trailer for Skyrim (I hope, but I really doubt it), or it's for something entirely different (like a new game).

NO THAT'S JUST ME DRILLING HOLES INTO THEM WITH MY POWER DRILL LOL

Oh okay, that's fine then. Stings a little... *rubs sugar on it*.

Update. Here's a brightened version of the image and shows another person in the room wearing a jacket (apparently a hoodless Thalmor robe some are believing).

W00T cant wait! i just started a new character about a week ago (sneaky-archy-wood elf) lvl 21 right now, finnished the thieves/black hand/stormloaks quests; working on main/college of winterhold and companions quest lines (started college and companions just today infact.)

And another update. According to some reports popping up, it may actually be for Dishonored after all (surprisingly). The same picture showed up during an advert on Gametrailers in a trailer snippet for the game that will be shown later on. I've yet to see it myself, so I can't give any confirmation on it, but here's the source.

Still, I find it odd the screen would be for Dishonored given the game's art style is similar to that of Bioshock Infinite.. unless they changed it up since the last time they showed it.

Very interesting looking game and like a mental mix of Half Life 2, Bioshock, Deus Ex and Mirrors Edge with slow motion effects. With Harvey Smith (Deus Ex), Raphaël Colantonio (BioShock 2) and Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2) behind the title I can see why, this could be a really great game if done right.

False alarm, guys. Back to playing the waiting game.
