The already-announced Xbox 360 USB storage support update has just been released on Xbox Live, Microsoft reports.
As previously detailed, the system update contains support for USB memory storage devices - including hard drives - as Microsoft steps to phase out those silly (and small) 360 memory units.
"Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you'll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update," reports MS mouthpiece, Major Neslon.
"If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you'll be back online in a few moments."
