Uploading Custom Meshes

Well I've been doing some messing around and experimenting on Blender and created almost a replica of the iron blunderbuss from Fable 2 and was really hoping to be able to put it into fable and use it. i used blender to export it as a DirectX file [ .x] and loaded the mesh over the crappy yew crossbow so i wouldn't have to mess with animations but when i imported it only a few parts of my gun showed. i took it down before testing it, i dont even know if it would work like that. i re-imported it to blender and it showed up normally. am i missing some sort of FE tool or something?
