US Pre-Order Codes May NOT Work for the UK Version

As far as can be told, the US and UK codes for the pre-order weapons don't work for the other version. (The codes are completely different between the Absolver and the Inquisitor for example.) A heads up for everyone who's looking to gain something from another region is that it may not work.

They might still work, but due to the different in code length it's doubtful

Just a heads up for everyone looking to trade / buy other people's pre-order weapons cross seas.

P.S. If someone could clarify this completely, I'd be very happy.

Being that most things(Code Required) are region coded, meaning a US 3 month card, or Microsoft Points will not work in another country, the chances are the DLC codes shall not work in any country but the one they are from. However this is just my two cents on the subject.

If that's the case, then it's truly a shame. But as said before; these are meant to be region-based codes moreso than non-restricted. So the chances are that we won't be able to use them outside the US, UK and Australia.

UPDATE: It turns out Australian codes DO work, it's just a question of whether or not US ones do.

For now, I suggest (hell, I suggest you all do it anyway, if you're looking for the Channeler) you all go to Australian eBay.

At first I was ready to rage, but thanks for that last snippet of info Autrach. I was worried that Australian codes wouldnt work, the code I am (hopefully) getting off a friend is Australian.

For now, I suggest (hell, I suggest you all do it anyway, if you're looking for the Channeler) you all go to Australian eBay.

Or you could find an American that Pre-Ordered from Best Buy(Online) seeings as Best Buy got the codes as well.

Cheaper from Australia since the vast majority of Australians have the Channeler pre-order (nothing else in Australia, I believe).

Well yeah I will give you that one, but the competition may cause it to be more expensive assuming it actually works outside of Australia.

It's not a matter of whether an issue is important enough to warrant a bump or not, the fact of the matter is bumping is against the official forum rules.
