Useless, but interesting

I just realized that I can kill the rats that show up in Witchwood Cavern and Underground Tunnel. They may also show up in other areas, but not sure. It's hard to hit them with a sword, but easy with bow and zoom. You only get one Experience point and it shows up on list of kills as other. So if you have ever seen 'other' as a kill on your personality screen it may have been a rat you killed and didn't know.

Re: Useless, but interesting

haha seriously you got to much time, can I have some? ;O

Re: Useless, but interesting

You can kill sparrows too. In fact, there's a quest to kill them before you leave the guild.

Re: Useless, but interesting

Ha! I didn't know you get evil points for it. Wicked. Next time I wanna boost for evil points then I'll do that. ^_^

Re: Useless, but interesting

Still, nice discovery. Now I know how to fill my "others" list :)

Re: Useless, but interesting

Has anyone tried to kill Maze during the final test in Heroes Guild. If he asks you to hit him with a sword or cast lightning, you can hit him with a bow from the right distance. Maybe he has infinite life, but if not....

+rep also

Re: Useless, but interesting

I wonder, never actually tried... I guess ima go try

Re: Useless, but interesting

I juiced up Skorm's Bow to over 600 damage points and put it in the guild. Shot Maze 10+ times, but did nothing to him. He can't be hurt at that time it seems.

Re: Useless, but interesting

If you don't mod the game, and you hit him with lightning when you're meant to melee him, he'll cast an infiinitely better lightning spell on you.

Is you try to melee him when you're meant to Lightning or fire an arrow at him he will Force Puch you.:)

I thought it was pretty neat.

Re: Useless, but interesting

haha I didn't know that, +rep for the find

I think I did about the same amount of damage and indeed, it seems he is invincible at that moment

Re: Useless, but interesting

it's the same with the white balvarine, changed my iron longsword to do 12K damage and I couldn't kill it during the 0/10 and 0/5 times, but when I came down to the lake I 1 hit K.O.'ed him :S

Re: Useless, but interesting

Oh really? When I hit the White Balverine it plays all the cutscenes in one and it dies straght away.

This seems fun :D, unless you were being sarcastic, I have difficulties detecting sarcasm at times.

Possible Maze spoilers, just in case.
What if Maze is killed during your training in the guild, will the game jump straight to Hook Coast...

Re: Useless, but interesting

Hah, I don't think it's possible to kill Maze on the training, maybe the creators made him invincible at that part of the game to avoid things like that...

It's the same when you try to kill the Guild Master without being on that quest that you need heroes souls. Normally you can hit him, but he cannot die.

About the rats, I had to beat the game 3 times to realize that lol.

same here and I end up with a horde of balvarines charging against me

Re: Useless, but interesting

No, you just won't be able to complete any Maze related quests.

Re: Useless, but interesting

I meant that if you kill Maze during training (Through Modding) then you won't be able to complete any Maze related quests, such as learning about Twinblade's Camp.
