USPS Sucks.

Okay so awhile back I ordered some stuff from a company in California, South California, and it arrived about 5 days later. Recently I bought an iPhone from someone in Georgia, used the same company, USPS. I ordered it last Sunday, it still hasn't gotten here. On Wednesday, USPS said give it May 5 - 10. Why May 5 - 10 when I ordered it May 2? Shouldn't it be May 3 - May 8 or something? Obviously not to these ****nuggets. It's the 8th today and I still haven't recieved it, we don't get mail on Sunday so that means it should be here Monday on the 10th. I live in Virginia. How does something from South California get to the complete opposite side of the Country faster than something that's three states down?

Fedex is the "You order 3 day shipping, we'll make sure it's there in 3 days." USPS is "You order 3 day shipping, we'll attempt to get it there in 3 days but it will probably get there in 4 or 5."

Wouldn't surprise me. Friend sent me something and shipped with USPS, the package (among other people's packages) was stolen by an employee at the center, haven't found the person nor recovered the missing packages (this was down in Georgia). Their delivery service is just... horrible.

UPS, DHL and Fedex are good, although Fedex has worked with USPS.

He was very devoted to his job, it's like he had that mailman's creed but actually lived by it. There's some good USPS mailmen here, who I've spotted with a smile while on the job and takes the time to say hello to everyone, instead of the "I can't wait for this damn day to end" face, but they seem to be in the minority.

Mmm...

But yeah, I agree John.. DHL was very nice to me, the guy had to deliver the package to me from China through below zero weather. Came to my door with the package and the guy actually had a smile on his face, asked how I was doing, DHL requires a signature but the guy told me not to worry and he'd fill it out for me and told me "Enjoy your package."

Guy was so nice I thought I was in a dream.

I'm a britfag. I don't know whats going on here, but I do know that the Royal Mail were striking at some point last year, and they stole about 50 pounds from me.

That was my input.

I shall now be leaving.
