Video Game Stupidity.

Earlier I was playing a MMO where me and a group had to complete a dungeon, as everyone ended up dying and I was the last one there, I was at the end of the dungeon and I had to pull a lever while 30 monsters where attacking me..

I get the message:

"Are you sure you want to pull the Lever To Complete The Dungeon?"

.Yes .No,

So yeah, I end up dying... it's like "no, I don't want to pull the lever, I'll just sit here and wait untill it opens by itself"

While your getting chased by 30 high level monster, you want to pull that lever instantly to get out and not be asked a question of "are you sure?"

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Re: Video Game Stupidity.

Dungeons and Dragons Online,, and I was a healer, so I couldn't really kill everyone.

Re: Video Game Stupidity.

I need to get back on the MMO scene... In some RPG games I can remember times where giant ass monsters are perched right outside the town, shouldn't the big ass monsters be further out? Also, in Adventure Quest I hate how it will sometimes pair you with a monster that in WAY above your power level.

Try Dungeons And Dragons Online, it has become f2p now. :D

It was a Team of Priests. <_<

Re: Video Game Stupidity.

Why would a team of priests do a boss/level run?! P.S what is your D&D USername?

Because in Dungeons and Dragons, Clerics kick unbelievable amount of ass? Dunno about Online, but in PnP (Pen and Paper) they sure do.

Yeah, they do in online as well, I'm in the group known as "Nuker Priest" which means I do insane aoe damage and good healing, "nuker cleric" is just even more insane damage.

Even though the class is called Cleric, in the community you are known as
Priest - Support
Cleric - Damage/Suppoer
or
Nuker Priest,
Nuker Cleric.

it's confusion without a reason.
