Where does your custom character go after the short quest they give you?

They get eaten by balvarines snorted by hobbs and then made into stawbarry jam by stall vendors and eventually become soul dust and turn into hollowmen/woman

they just wonder around the town you assign them unless you marry and move them or kill them but i still like the first answer better

My villager appeared in Brightwall even though I chose Bowerstone.
