f*** you too you f****** f***. Go live in the shed you f****** f*** f*** f*** f*** f*** f***!

And in other news...
hahahahhaha
I think the crawler may be from the void. I do recall him saying something like "Don't you wish for your kingdom to join a black void?" Or something, but it just might be another use of the word 'void'.
I recall this, i cant remember what was said exacly thouguh
She doesn't help them per se, but rather she gives them the means in which to help themselves.
She helps, but if she sees something that would benefit her, she will manipulate to get it, such as the spire,

Theres no need for that...

If people are going to act like idiots, then I shall speak to them in an idiotic manner in the hopes that they can better understand me.

None other than you spoke in an idiotic manner.

Still no need to stoke a fire and insult someone openly, inviting a flamefest right there so tone it down.

Sorry there, Flower, but that sort of attitude doesn't wash with me. 24 hour ban imposed.

getting back on topic:
so we *mostly* agree that the crawler could be a void being.
i don't think that it's related to the shadow court because there was no relation to reaver. i mean, most of your decisions that involved reaver were in the interest of generating or preserving your fund to oppose it. reaver seemed more like he was just an iconic character that was still around after all those years....just someone profiting from changing tides.

as for who or what being of the void the crawler is, your guess is as good as mine. he seemed to be more sinister and all powerful than JoB, and as such may be of a higher stature. on the other hand, the crawler seems to follow a more direct and wild approach to it's goals, while jack was strategic and deceiving...

Job being my fav, he knew what he was doing an knew how to handle not only it but himself

Cheez, you have to remember though that the Court ruled the Void, and as such, you have to consider the possibility of a higher power controlling the Crawler. I still refer back to the 'Dark Guardians' he goes on about during combat.

...wut? i think that the crawler is a subordinate void being. he was more of a "force" then a thinking entity, which leads me to believe that someone else was pulling the strings. even if jack didn't seem to have as much raw power, he was more formidable because he could manipulate and mess with people on a personal level. he could bend people to his will without taking over their bodies.
to put it simply, the crawler may be a soldier, but jack is a politician. and politicians control the armies.

There's a possibility that the Void, The Court, the Shadow Council and the Crawler are all related. However, it does seem rather silly to argue over this when Lionhead has given us nothing to go on.

why not? choosing the "love" ending in fable 2 gave us a very cryptic message that led to constant debate as to the identity of someone... but you know what? it turns out that this "baseless" speculation turned out to be correct. when lionhead did get around to confirming it 2 years later the majority opinion (not me, i argued against it) ended up being right.

Because as I just said, Lionhead has given us nothing to go on. Yes, I know all about that. It was confirmed that Scythe was the mysterious man who happens to be with Rose which of course makes the "Love" ending canon. ... Not that any of that is relevant to this conversation though.

it's relevant because it shows that there is value in discussing such things even if we have nothing to go on.
it's relevant because stop being such a negative nancy.
:P

Negative Nancy? Hardly. I'm just saying a discussion like this is akin to debating religion.

The Court that lead the Void has been destroyed now though.. The Shadow Court could be them still, just a 'shadow' of their former selves. And the Shadow Court was filled with Shades, which are 'the children', right? Is all very likely the Crawler and his minion's are of the Void. Where else could they have come from?

exactly what i'm thinking. even if the court are the rulers of albion from the void, that doesn't mean there aren't more void beings out there! anyone ever feel like there should have been a 'king of blades'? HHHMMMMMMMM.................

I agree that the Crawler is a void being, and I am leaning into believing that he may be a part of the shadow court(but thats just my opinion). The reason for that is I noticed while you were crossing the desert, after leaving Walter, you see the crawler mimicing Walter as you continue and he keeps taunting the hero, then suddenly you see him walking around talking to himself and he seems to speak of himself in third person and seems to be telling his story(at least thats what I am guessing) and tells about how the *3* of them were forced into the darkness until they lost all light and became dark and cold, or something of the like. I can't remember the exact specifics, but I would like to think its telling the origin of the shadow court? 3, darkness, 3 shadows? I dunno I'm just throwing that up there.

I think that was Walter.. Like the Crawler toying with his memories. He says how he and his men were left alone to die in a cave with no light or no food. Explaining why he prang'd so much in the cave beforehand

He means the Knight of Blades, and they're only referenced in Tales of Albion
