I'd probably vote Obama if I lived in the US, I've seen enough of fox news not to like Republicans, not exactly fond of Democrats either but Obama seems likeable, not like David Cameron over here who everyone pretty much hates.

Things haven't changed due to consensus.. By changing previous popular policies, he'd damage his chances in the next election. Like most politicians, he is appealing to the majority voters (middle classes), but also tries to keep the vote of the lower classes. He will simply try to keep the nation stable until the end of the economic recession. There will be little change for now, but give him time and he will establish the US equivalent to the NHS, which will provde free healthcare at the expense of higher taxasion. The condition of America is not his fault; it is the result of failures from your previous government and the economic downturn.
Obama is different to other presidents. Any other US leader would create a destractionfrom the poor condition of the USA in another country such as a war in Iran or Syria before the election, but he hasn't.

The Republican, Romney also wants the middle class vote but typically, he appeals to the brainless extremist, high class society and the racists. He wants Iran nuked, Syria ignored and the welfare state abolished. He will inflict change on the USA, but its people will suffer. Personally i'd rather not be dragged into another war in the middle east.

If i were American, I'd vote Obama.
