Was going to buy a xbox 360.

I was planning on running down to gamestop tomorrow and picking up an xbox 360. Now I read that this game is going to hit the PC in December??? Wish I would have read that sooner, and not sold all my old games. At least it saves me 200 bucks. Anyone else planning on buying a 360 just for this game?

I've had a ****box for a while now so no, I have no intention of getting one just for this game. Would I? Possibly. It all depends on how epic it plans on being.

I still may get one. I have never played any of the halo games. But I suppose if I get an xbox I could go ahead and try it. But Fable 3 in October vs whoknowswhen for pc sounds good too.

I bought a PS3 just to get my hands on Metal Gear Solid 4
Bought a PSP just to get Metal Gear Portable Ops
Bought a Wii just to get Zelda: Twilight Princess (Haven't completed that yet -.-)
Bought a PS2 just to get Shadow of the Colossus....

Ah! so that's where all of my hard earned cash went o.0

Fable III will be released on the PC some time after the Xbox 360 release. (Also, a little bird told me that it might include a DLC with the PC release of the game)

However, the Xbox 360 is a video game console, which offers an one, very basic thing that you might will not experience easily on your computer: the game play experience.


I do not hate PC gaming, honestly I am an avid PC gamer myself, because I can get a greater quality and performance than a console, of course that depends on the PC that the player is using.

Although, PC conversions of a certain video game always include a few flaws, differences and other things which could change the game play experience, sometimes even giving to the player a bad game play experience. (for example, when the computer cannot hold the requirements of the game, and the player is forced to play on low settings)

Therefore, I would suggest for any avid video gamer, to purchase a console where they can play their video games without the risks and the probable flaws that the PC version of the same game could have.

Do not mistake what I am saying, I am not telling that every PC video game contains such flaws and problems that decrease the game play experience to the gamer, all the contrary I believe PC gaming improves it. Although, there is always the small risk that the game play experience might not be as good as the original console counterpart.

On a final note: When you do play a video game on a console, your resolution and texture quality will not be at their "max" Settings because it would affect the video game's performance. So developers often do lower their settings on the final console release.

Although, when you do play a video game on the computer you can have a higher quality and resolution of the video game. Of course, the only requirement is the hardware and accessories. (and much money)

I havve had my xbox since christmas of 2008, it works fine, I still love it, I bought it for fable 2 and decided id play other games along with it

Eh, I'd buy the 360 anyway. For one, it's more than just a console. Another reason? You can play all three Fable's on it

Like the Tyrant Lord said, I'm switching to the new xbox(all that space to save my games ^^)(I still have 32 gigs left on my elite) Anyways I wouldn't advise buying the 360 for just Fable III, maybe pick up some other new releases as well to go with it, such as Reach?

Buy the xbox and then get Red Dead Redemption because that game is bomb and you can play it till Fable III comes out. Xbox's aren't that expensive these days.
