in most games im all for char customisation, but i agree, i like the idea of starting the same, it makes it exciting to see what other players characters look like, i justr think it needs more variation ( eg. all max stat males end up looking fat with most gloves)

Yeah, in TES III and IV you could never get a character that you actually thought looked awesome, unless you modded it heavily :S

What makes fable unique is the character development and the different choices that decides wether you're good or bad, why would they wanna screw that up in F3?
