And Walker? All small children deserve it...they really do...not nearly enough discipline these days so I'm just doing my bit for humanity...

Update - going to the Manor Hospital in Walsall (how exciting!) to see a spinal surgeon. As long as there are no needles I will be fine ^_^

Surgeon... that very word, surgeon, it sends a chill down my spine... I don't like the idea of someone cutting me up... ugh, I am terrified of that stuff...

Bit of a trek on the train for someone to have to see a spinal surgeon, they just expect people to be able to get to places easily then eh?

"oh yeah, sure - we've got one about 13 miles away...see you in about a year by the time you've limped over here..."

Some people are just dumb. And coz I'm not registered disabled yet, I can't qualify for private ambulance assistance to drive me to hospitals and such.

Some people are just dumb. And coz I'm not registered disabled yet, I can't qualify for private ambulance assistance to drive me to hospitals and such.

Yeah ive never understood that system at all, by all rights they should be able to send a specialist to you. They wont have all the instruments to examine you but they could bring enough with them to be able to diagnose if it was serious enough to be referred to a hospital. If it happened to be then they should arrange for transport to be provided.

Plus I have no idea how the buses work around here...took me most of my teens to work them out in my hometown! Do they even go to Walsall? I don't know! This sucks...

Best is to get on the train to Birmingham i believe its about the 4th stop (tells you on the signs in the trains and at the Train Station near bridges in town).

Oh yeah - outside some dingy looking shopping centre type place, I think....been a while...I'll have to get a map like a tourist (and who the hell would visit Walsall as a tourist??) and walk around until I find the hospital...which apparently has a ridiculously high mortality rate...lucky lucky me...
