You must be used to playing online. I usually prefer single play. I'm hoping with fable 2, I'll become more interested.

You should be able to protect the fragile mage. If you give her some time, she`ll blast the bad guys into thousand bits with some elemental rage.

Yeah, I do like playing online. Mainly because I like fantasy, I can play with my friends and possibly meet people around the world. Well, not personally, but it helps me practice my English for example.I`m not a hardcore MMORPG player though. I like to play C&C Generals or C&C Renegade as well.

LOL, I'm not that fragile. It's just online has a different setup, that might take a time or two to get used to. It's going to be strange to play with real people. I'm sure it must be harder, unless, you're on the same side?
I think the neatest thing will be actually hearing what your friends sound like. I'm usually, very good at combos. Magic mainly. Is it really, that different, from playing alone?

Fable 2 isn`t really meant for multiplayer online - it`s a singleplayer game with co-op features - really quite different from real MMOs, where you have to grind countless hours to level up and have no story. Plus, I`ve never really liked player versus player combat in online games. Don`t know why, but I always think I have less skill and i`m going to be wasted by the other player.

So, to answer your question ( I hope I will) - people co-oping against AI is a lot of fun and simple. But playing games against other people is something to get used to and needs skill.

I would play with you guys if you add my gamertag, but I just joined this site recently and I don't know anyone. I don't want to invite someone to my world and have them kill my wife and/or kids along with important people in the game and then leave. That would suck.
The cool thing is, when you join someone's world (as a guest) you get paid hourly (in game) for your services.

im mostly a warrior mage but im a good archer too but im never just a mage im best at melee but i uses spelles alot im pretty balanced at everything and ive played as a good guy half the time good half bad,good just isnt as fun or easy, its alot more difficult and gets old faster. so id probly have 2 people, one relly evil the other relly good (and poor as alwayz) but i dont do any cuting corners if im being a super good person like this that i found out wen im playing as a sorta good guy like this......

if your good and you want to buy all the houses in oakvale or anywere else just get your weapon out wait for a guard to chase you go into a house and us summon, itll kill the inicent people but not give you any evil points ^^

Thanks for the answer. Maybe Fable 2 will be the perfect game for learning, online play, then. Only one or two, should handle that just fine. Not only that, unless you take the safety off, the visitor can't kill anyone, I don't think. I'm so looking forward to meeting my friends at the pub.

Yeah, Peter keeps stressing to make sure, you don't take the safety off. Otherwise, someone can kill your wife or husband. Mine will always be on.

I've only been watching the E3 via xbox live so I didnt know about the safety. I already told my friend what would happen if he killed my wife and/or kids.

ya id defanetly kill them if they did that, and if they responed somewere id kill them agine untill they got mad and leaft

but id probly leave it off, it would probly make the game more fun in a way, increase the risk some, plus i dont think you could kill echother if its turned on if i understand it right

It depends on you character too. In Fable 2, every player can hold their own and can manage without friends, whereas in massive multiplayer games, some classes are meant for support only and can`t really solo-play. They have to find other people to help them level up. In return, supporting characters are very needed in big boss battles to heal or buff the ones who do all the damaging.

I think if someone is destroying your world, you can just pull out the Internet cable

Maybe all the good guys are just hiding somewhere, waiting a chance to shine.
If only Fable 2 provided a chance for lots and lots of heroes to fight each other. WOuld be cool to make a evil vs good war.

We don't know yet all we know is that we can Couch Co-Op and Ambien Orb Co-op (online)

Nothing has been released regarding PVP (player versus player)

Yeah, i've got co-op lined up with a few of my Live buddies should be great fun, though i hope none have the bad sense to leave the safety off when i join their game........ Hahahahahahahaha
