There's not too much to understand. She's just really cryptic and unnecessary...yeah
You have to kill Lucien, get the heroes, and do a bunch in between.

What's a specific example of something you didn't understand?

I never even got to finish the first game and I was never confused in 2.

Well. Fable and Fable TCL are not as connect to Fable 2 as Fable 2 is to Fable 3.

I didn't find the story of Fable II to understand. I guess you just have to actually go back and play through and finish the first Fable, it will make more sense then.

Its stupid is as much as pretty much any evil character would just kill Hammer Garth or Reaver to stop Lucien. And about a thousand other things too, but its been a while since i played through. It still great anyway, but there are some moments when you are made to do really stupid things.
