Re: What cha think

I've heard it has to do with unconditional love and making us really feel strongly about our actions

Re: What cha think

I have also hear that from past reports. Curiously, Molunex said that many of the other developers believed the feature was "dumb". If it has to do with unconditional love, then I imagine it might have to do with how Lucien (Jack-of-Blades esque character) can abduct or kill your family, another feature Molunex revealed. Keep me posted on what you think it is. I'm very interested in finding out.

Re: What cha think

Don't you have a strong love for you're sister and she gets kidnapped I thought thats how the story went.

She might be family but the choice between her and ruling the world with my evil hand....... theres only one choice

Re: What cha think

The true voice of evil, it sends chills down my spine. Still if I didn’t like Avo’s Tear better I would be right with ya.

Re: What cha think

If they succeed in making you feel more deeply about your actions I'm going to have a harder time than ever being evil.

Ah sentimental rubbish, i will still slaughter everyone

Re: What cha think

He did say it had something to do with unconditional love. As many of you have said, it may have to do with the sentimental aspect (as in if you shoot someone, they're gone for good as in real life, and that person may have cared about you) of the game and getting "emotionally involved" with the game as Molunex once said. Wow is all that I can say. Putting this amount of emotion and detail into a game is beyond the concepts we have of "next-gen". This is the future of gaming. You have been warned.

Thats good to hear

Re: What cha think

It would indeed be difficult to actually, painstakingly, think about your actions before you do them. However, with this as a concept, the whole idea of getting more choices, it would be amazingly fun to save and go absoluetly evil! With next-gen gaming must come next-gen evil!   Trust me, I'm not evil... only on Mondays.

Re: What cha think

Mondays....... I'am evil on the wekends.

Re: What cha think

I think we need fablefreak to rate the randomness of this thread
What is it about again?

Re: What cha think

All I hope for a good game is that they still have the good old Fable sense of humor. I know that it's pretty immature and off-the-wall to be able to fart in Fable I, but why not? It's that good sense of humor that a game is remembered by. Either that or its awesome graphics and features.

Re: What cha think

All i hope for for the Fable 2 is that it will live up to it's hype unlike the first Fable. That was pretty gay when all of the promises of the original game went unfulfilled. But if even half the stuff promised is in the sequel it'll be awesome.

True. Who knows? If Molunex doesn't come through on this one, maybe the people who gave him death-threats over the whole acorn deal will shoot him or something. :D What I think that Fable 2 really needs is some more interaction between you and the npcs. If anyone here has ever played TES: Oblivion, a very good game still, but you notice that the interaction level there is rather low. I mean, you raise their disposition up to 85 and so what... That's what I always liked about Fable- the interaction was pretty beechin'.
