If only it was for looking good by comparison...superiority must be such a nice feeling...
Nah, it's for blending in really. I spent the first 5 years of my independant life hanging around the "dregs of society" and quite liked it...being with the middle classes, all talking about interest rates and mortgages, or gossiping about something crap like a kitchen extension or a third car just doesn't interest me and dozing off whilst someone is talking in earnest about their tax rebate doesn't tend to go down well...
