That's real helpful... That pregnancy center for teens?

Mostly - we get some older people but it's quite rare. Most of the people coming through our doors are teenagers between 13 and 16 looking for abortions. We're not a medical centre so we tell them where they can book an appointment to have an abortion but also invite them to have a session with one of us in order to check they undestand their options and what each option involves.

We do a lot of schools work too - going into classes and discussing sex, drugs, alcohol, relationships and whatever else matters to them.

Legal age of consent is 16 but doesnt stop some people carrying on younger and not thinking about what they are doing.

My big question is when do they find the time? I as soon as I get home, I take care of my baby sister and post on here. Next, I play basektball. Then dinner. Shower. Then Homework. No TV even! And my second one is were? My time was in the woods.... It hurt.

loads of kids these days have no responsiblities, or dont care about them. they just look 2 2day, dont think about future. RTS them i say.

Like Andy said, age of consent doesn't mean people stick to it. Not many teenage girls are going to shop their boyfriend to the police because they are underage, are they? Unless they are feeling REALLY mad that their first time wasn't all that...

I haven't counselled anyone younger than about 14 - but the lady I work with has had 12 year olds come up to her thinking they are pregnant. It happens a lot and part of it is down to the fact that kids really do gorw up very quickly these days - puberty kicks in a lot earlier than it used to and children as young as 8 are starting their periods, so it's not uncommon to find pre-teens being sexually active. Scary, but not a rare thing.

Mix a little alcohol with an older boyfriend and there you go...

Wow.... I guess I don't know everything. :lol: 8 YEARS OLD?!? That is weird! My mom said one of the reasons why a lot of girls are crying at school is because there are on there periods. I think kids really need to slow down. I think it is mostly the guys fault for it. I know a lot of guys who do talk with there girls about it. I think there putting a lot of pressure on them. That was funny what you said about the cops and the last sentence. Sorry, but I do.
