What Hammer says

I noticed at the end of the game Hammer says different things, depending on your choice you made. For example, on my first play-through I chose Love. Hammer said "I'm sure if people had that choice, they would have chosen it too" or something along those lines. I just finished my second playthrough, and I chose Wealth. This time, she said "Reaver actually agrees with your choice?! I know you've done some awful things, but I never knew you'd sink this low."

So it seems depending on the choice you make, Hammer says something different.

Re: What Hammer says

It also depends on alignment. If you're good and you choose love, she says something different than when you're evil and you choose love. Same with wealth and sacrifice. Not sure if she says something different if you're neutral because I've always been either 100% good or evil by the end of the game, but I've never heard her say that others would have done the same as me after choosing love, so my guess is that being neutral does have an effect on what she says, and you were neutral when she said that. After choosing love, she either says something like "If you care so little about life, why not just take the money?" (evil), or "I'd do almost anything to bring back someone I loved, but you could have brought back thousands. It's just not the choice I thought you'd make." (good).

Yeah. I noticed that she said "I knew you made a few horrible choices", and I was evil.

That's what I got :P

Anyone knows what she says when you choose the first one on good and evil?

Re: What Hammer says

I think the only one who doesn't say anything different depending on what you pick is garth?

Actually, he does say something. If you're good, and you pick love, the dialogue goes something like this:

Hammer: "I'd do almost anything to bring back someone I loved."
Reaver: "Oh, I think I'm going to be ill."
Hammer: "But you could have brought back thousands. All the victims of this horrible place, they had families too."
Garth: "It was his decision, let him live with it."
Hammer: "It's just not the choice I thought you'd make."

Yes Garth does say that.

So it seems all 3 say something different depending on your choice. Interesting.... :ninja:

Re: What Hammer says

Is there a list of all the things she says somewhere?

Re: What Hammer says

You could check the Fable Wiki, or I could list most of the stuff she says when you're good or evil (I have a pretty crazy memory, I sometimes find myself saying all the lines that characters say in-game when I get bored ), not neutral though, since I haven't completed the game being totally neutral.

Re: What Hammer says

Yeah i hate when you choose money (the worst option of them all)
she says "you dont care about us do you? You just care about yourself"
Or something like that..
Just wanted to murder her right there and then, infact after that i spent 10 minutes shocking and hitting her with my hammer. xD

Re: What Hammer says

Hmm, I don't remember her saying that. I'm not sure anymore what she says when you're good and you pick wealth, but when you're evil and you pick wealth, the conversation goes like this:

Reaver: "Excellent choice, I'd have done the same."
Hammer: "Reaver agrees with your decision, is that how low you've sunk? All the dreadful things you've done, I figured, whatever it takes to get to Lucien, so be it. But this...You know what? I pity you."

EDIT: On another note, when you choose sacrifice, Hammer mentions her father, but nothing implying that her father is alive because of your choice. Wouldn't he be revived? I think he technically was a victim of the spire.

Actually he was just shot by Luciens men. Victims of the spire seems to be anyone who was forced to work in the sprie itself.

Re: What Hammer says

But Lucien's men are all Spire guards or Spire soldiers. To me, it seems like any one of their victims would be considered victims of the Spire.

Not really, they are just people who worked in the spire. By victims of the spire she just means the spire itself in which case the people who worked there.

Re: What Hammer says

..
Man i hate choosing that for the 3 options seriously.
I mean what do i get? Everyone falling in love with me and a stupid statue :l

Yeah thanks for saving everyone who got killed in the making of the spire, heres a retarded looking statue.

Re: What Hammer says

I think her comment about the choice you make are unique and are not affected by alignment, while her parting commenting is.

I chose love on both my characters, the first good, the second evil(-ish). On both characters her comment about love was the same. She said something about missing her father too, but that I could have saved thousands of lives (If I had chose sacrifice).

Her parting comment though was different. On my good guy she said I was the best damn friend she'd ever had, but on my bad guy she said that we "did a lot of great things, shame about the rotten stuff though".

Either way I always really hated hammer...

Over-talkative fat bitch.
