What Happened To Bully?

What happened to Bully? That game rocks! I wish they were gonna make Bully 2, but due to lack of popularity, they decided against it.

So anyone here play it? It was another game being pursued by Jack Thompson and being called a "Columbine Simulator" but was actually quite childish and was given a mere "T" rating. But anyways...

That game rocked! It took me FOREVER to get 100% completion (collecting all items, completing all missions, you know, the whole Rockstar completion thing).

It wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. It'd be cool if you were the bully, but being bullied just kinda sucks :hmm:

Well, you CAN be the bully, like shoving people in lockers, giving them swirlies, and putting them in trash cans. Also wedgies are a nice one, or..... TACKLING FAT KIDS!!!

Yeah. If you thought you couldn't be the bully you probably weren't trying hard enough

I loved it, although I didn't play a Bully as such. I wish they were going to make a sequal (i thought the satire of school life was pretty accurate in places ) but oh well.

Well I never played the game, nor really had any interest. There probably won't be another because of all the controversy around the game. Because of that, it didn't make much, causing it to become a very unpopular game. I have to admit, it would be interesting if somehow they did develop a second Bully game and to see what changes they have made, etc.:hmm:

Well Manhunt had a ****load of controversy, and they're releasing second one. But then again, it was VERY popular.

Manhunt 2 is not coming for the PS3 and Wii... also they are going to spend 1$mil to get the game down from the "adults only" rating the ESRB gave it. I read it in Super Play today.

I rented it. It was actually pretty fun and I'm sure I would have played it more if I owned it. I love games where you can free roam like GTA and do side things so I enjoyed this title.

I wish Manhunt 2 was coming out for Xbox 360. I have a PSP but games always seem to be lacking things they have on the main system.

I "think" it is a PS2 only game - and whilst I do own a PS2, I loathe Sony and I loathe the way they are downgrading next-gen games and putting them on the PS2, which doesn't hold what it promises because they don't say anything about these limitations until you play it.


So yeah, had it been on PC or Xbox, I'd get it.

Bully was surrounded by controversy and even had its name changed so although it was a popular title and well reviewed with the storm around Manhunt 2 dont expect to see a sequel soon.

Yeah and it was banned, and also strictly restricted in all areas so as Zingo said Sony and Nintendo refused to sell it on their consoles.

Thats correct they are downgrading the violence in order for it to get an 18 age rating instead of an AO one in US and 18+ rating for UK instead of an all out ban.
