Steve posted about it on the main page though no details have been given. Im guessing the traffic we have been getting caused something to crash. Totalchoicehosting seemed to have remedied the problem quite fast though it seems. Im sure Steve will shed some more light on what happened shortly.

I ate the forums.
Only kidding - yeah, we've been getting a HUGE increase in traffic lately, coinciding with the release of Fable 2. We usually have around 5,000 unique visits to the site per day and that has increased almost ten fold, so understandably the server had a heart attack. We gave it some ice cream and it's ok now though

I miss it too, lets me know all the new threads. But then again, there has been a stupidly hideous amount of new threads in the fable 2 section. I can barely keep up.
