What if Video Games Never Existed?

You have to agree that the general attitude of us gamers on this topic is rather amusing though.

Maybe.

I'm not entirely under the belief that without games my life would be so much better, because I don't know that for a fact and I also doubt it. My life now is just fine as is, and there'd still be all the bumps and potholes in life to deal with anyway. But I can examine the path of my life right now and easily realize that it did have a noticeable impact on it, such as my old passion for drawing.. it eventually took a backseat for gaming. If I was more into drawing than gaming, I can only be left to wonder if it could have developed into a potential freelance career or not. I'll never know.

'Course, I could always get back into it right now, but.. yeah.

If video games had never existed my entire life would be different, seriously I've been playing games since I could talk. The first console I ever played on was the Sega Gamegear.

Also I wouldn't have joined any internet forums so I wouldn't of met any of you or anyone from Lionhead either. I'd likely be alot more stupid, ignorant and generally less inquisitive but I'd probably would be alot more social.

I can easily say that video games have shaped my life, I'd be in an entirely different position hadn't these things ever existed.

I like how everyone just assumes that video games have had a negative impact on their lives and they would be a better person without them, for sure. :wat:

I wouldnt be a better person at all, just healthier. Id probably be more miserable however as its what I do to unwind and stop me punching people in the face. So quite fitting that if I wasnt a gamer id simply take up a hobby that involves punching people in the face... maybe ive got more issues than I thought. :ermm:
