It's a hard game to judge based on its merits... I dunno... it's like dating a really cute girl that will randomly slip into severe mental illness every once in a while. I'll be playing, wandering around Albion, dancing and playing my lute, saving hapless villagers from ravaging monsters, I'll be completely absorbed, and then something will happen to break the trance. Maybe the breadcrumb trail will make me walk back and forth on a long path a couple of times (if it's there at all), or maybe lag will make it seem like my character is running through molasses. I guess I'd say, when it works it's easily one of the best games I've ever played, and when it doesn't it's one of the most frustrating.
