What scares you most?

Depends on your personality type, some people feel more secure planning for the future, others like to cross the bridge when they come to it, me for example, I'll admit I am pretty reckless, but it works best for me, It's not like it's got me killed yet. I hate worrying about the future, especially seeing as I don't have the power to change most of it. I only plan when I know things are going to fall exactly into place as to avoid crushing disappointment.

Well I try not to worry about the future, but that doesn't mean I disregard it until it's in my face.

The past: Learn from the things that went wrong and enjoy the memories of things that went right.
The future: Plan on things you want to go right but don't lose yourself over things that can go wrong.
The present: Now is what counts and defines what happens; The present is gone and the future unkown.

Gawd that sounded cheesy and pretentious.

And that's one of the many things that makes life so exciting - you can plan all you want, but it can change just like that *clicks fingers*.

Ain't nothing wrong with having a plan in place, but don't be so rigid that you miss out on the wealth of other opportunities life has for you. You can have a goal in mind but there are many ways to reach it and one might not be best as opposed to a different one.

^ This, basically. Long term plans are fine. But if you make a short term plan, and it goes wrong, you're screwed...

The dark. Spirits dragging me out of bed (happened a few weeks ago)

Falling off buses (happened to me once)

Oh and zombies, do not like zombies. x_x

But if you plan things, they can go wrong.

Yeah, but if you don't plan things, you're gonna get punched in the face by life, and then wonder why it didn't end up working out.

The trick is to not freak out and think everything's over when a plan doesn't work out.

In all seriousness though, I see what you mean. As I said, I make short term plans, but long term ones are just too uncontrollable to really make. Think about all the possible things that can change for you in the far future and you'll see what I mean.

 I mean I got such thoughts after watching scary movies, but daayam son...

As for me, I'm terrified of kelp forests, tall seaweed, and other things like that in my play water. I'm always scared I'm going to get caught up and get pulled under. One time when I was younger I was out in the middle of a lake, tubing, and I fell off as normal. Now, either the lake was shallow or something, but as I floated there I could feel some weeds start to wind around my leg and I definitely did NOT like it. Until the boat came around, I then floated up on my back with as much of me at or above the surface as possible. Still freaks me out to think about it.

Otherwise, stuff like spirits doing stuff like to Hermit there, despite being immensely fascinating as a topic. If they wanna do something, either around you or to you, there ain't **** what you can do about it. One time I was alone, cleaning an old vacant house on a property (part of my job) that I just had that...feeling...y'know. Didn't help that it was neighboring an actual haunted house that was part of the underground railroad...anyway. I was vacuuming on the 2nd floor and suddenly the lights and stuff went out in just that house. I was down those stairs and out the door as fast as me legs could carry me! I had the foreman come in to check the breaker box because he had a light and I didn't :P, and naturally it was down in the old dug out basement that was also scary.

So yea, seaweed and evil spirits are what gets to me. Otherwise, know no fear!

To be fair I did invite it in but I didn't think nothing of it until I woke up with my legs in the air, the next day I got rid of it so to speak. Haven't had any troubles since, lesson learned don't go around the haunted rooms talking to thingies in work.

Playful buggers indeed.
