Whatever happened to the Origami Fortune Telling Thingy???

It seemed to be the focal point in the trailers, yet, in the game, there was no sign of it, no reference to it, nothing, nada, zip, ziltch, zero!!!

i skimmed through some theories on other forums just to find out what the deal was, but they were all just that. theories!!

Does anybody know what actually happened?

Was it all just a rouse to keep us in suspence?
or,

was the trailer made up before they actually even had any idea of what the hell the story was going to be about?

I've been scratching my head about this for a litle while now, but no one on here has mentioned it since i've been posting on here!! so if someone could, Please Enlighten Me????

I think perhaps it was just a marketing ploy indicating that Fable 2 is a game where you can choose your destiny...just a bit of a different way of emphasising it, I suppose.

That's just my personal theory though.

I thought it was a way to, as Angel said, subtlly emphasize the choices in the game.

Was just a way they could show off the choices in character in the game in an easy and eye pleasing way and was never planned to be in the game.

I think thats dumb, i never trust trailers i was dissapointed because in the fab2 trailer there were kewl ass monsters and a chick wearing a cape but in the back of my head i knew it wewdnt be real

Not really...The acorn thing was something PM said would be available in-game and it would be a big part of Fable 1 but it never happened whereas this origami choice thing was just a bit from a trailer, they never said it was gunna be in-game.

I forgive you lionhead I forgive you, You play silly stupid games with us (Literally, ok not that stupid) But, I forgive you anyways. On the real, I want to know what is wrong with lionhead? I appologized before but its not like im lying when I say, You took all kinds of cool stuff out of the game, or it just wasnt there to begin with. The fortune teller, the strap and guild seal, the clothing on the friggin cover, there isnt anything like that in the game WHY DID I BUY SPECIAL EDITION? I didnt get EXCLUSIVE content everyone has it now, where did my 20 dollars go? The Cover and and extra dvd? Thats like 8 bucks max. Oh well theres dlc comin I should prolly shove it.

i so wanted that giuld strap, but lionhead cant make everything PM wants so whe ever i listen to his videos for now on i keep in mind those are his visions and wishes not the ingame content.

I also believe the were pressured by the release date so they might hae taken contentout to say hey were "done" with it.

Yeah, it was just some pre-release marketing, that came out almost 2 years before the game if I remember correctly.
