No official date other than Late in 08 "when the leaves have a brownish tint but are still on the trees" I'm thinking November 2008 Just 10 Months :w00t:

My PC seems to have died yesterday. One minute everything was fine, then the next its dead. Had funny lines appearing on the screen and monitor kept clicking on and off then went into standby and now PC turns on but monitor doesnt recognise its on and says no signal. Ive tried 3 different monitors now just incase it was that but none worked so think my GFX Card has died. So stuck using PC in parents room until i find out whats wrong with mine.

rocks: tomorrow i get to eat Japanese food with my dear brother figure, who i haven't seen in about a year.

Rocked: Watched Aliens versus Predator on Channel 4 like 30 minutes ago.

Sucked: Have to wait forever until Aliens versus Predator: Requiem will be broadcast on television.

Found out my GFX card isnt the problem, its either the RAM or the RAM slots on my motherboard.

Sucked

Still no idea which out of those 2 it is and my PC starts up but screens all weird and choppy.

If it's the MoBo then your in for a pretty decent upgrade How long have you had that configuration?

Are you hearing beeps of any sort?

Ive got a spare in the other room, though Motherboards arent that expensive and i wouldnt mind getting a new one capable of holding more RAM. I was hearing some beeping but i played around with it earlier and that has now stopped. It seems to be fine other than the screen is choppy in parts and as its loading i get nothing but black and white squares over it. Had this configuration for nearly 2 years now.

Fixing PC shouldnt be as expensive as i first thought.

Not being able to use PC and 360 at same time with me being in another room.

Have you tried reseating you ram and video card? I've seen that help.
Can you boot to safe mode?

Rocked: First half of the day done
Sucked: Didn't get enough done the first half.

Ive tried them both and the picture going choppy and pixelated and whole screen turning to black and white squares happens as soon as its turned on when Bios is going.

I missed it, and now he turned his phone off. He left me a message saying he would call tomorrow though. And furthermore, Im supposed to do 10 pages of math untill tomorrow, and 3 pages of physics - AND MY CALCULATOR IS BROKEN :O In other words, screw that!
