Unsure what you mean as ive never seen or read any interview where he said he had put the Singing Sword or ability to become a Balverine in the game...

Re: where did it go?

Afraid I haven't either, but I would definitely hand out rep to anyone that could find such an interview.

Re: where did it go?

There are a lot of rumors and even a Hero_Balverine in the coding but I don't recall an interview with PM indicating that it would be part of the game. Perhaps there's a clue in the teaser. On another note of all the things in the coding that weren't in the game a singing sword wasn't one of them.

Indeed. I haven't heard anything of the sort either.

Fan hysteria, maybe?

Re: where did it go?

UK Q&A: Peter Molyneux on Fable

PM: And you're not going to experience the whole game as you should do, if you chose to go straight through. Fable's got very, very high replayability. Most people I've spoken to will play it once, and they'll play it as an evil character and they'll go back and play it as a good character. It's a different sort of experience and you've got different sorts of challenges, different sorts of weapons, different sorts of fighting and combat. But, when I am playing through for the second time, you know, I wanted it to be fairly punchy. The first time I don't mind it being normal. I don't mind meandering through it. The second time I want it to be very punchy. And again, when you're finished the story you can still play in the world. If you let the credits run, you just find yourself a world and you can go out and do things like find the Singing Sword. There are lots of things you can still do with it.

Re: where did it go?

thanks for your help
heres a link to see a vid were a guy modded the game and made a kind of singing sword
(in other words its fake)
YouTube - Fable - Singing Sword
its quite long and boring though

oh yes a could like make fake screenies of fable i

Re: where did it go?

As I've said before, don't take Peter's words too seriously in that interview - He doesn't mean the Singing Sword as an item, he means the act of looking for the Singing Sword being something you can do after you've finished the game.

Why?

Well, looking for something that doesn't exists will take....forever. And just how long can you keep playing Fable after you've "beaten" it?...forever.

Re: where did it go?

oh hmmm someone already found it but anyway yes thats what i mean
i wonder do you think they will put the singing sword in fable 2

oh no someone found it before me oh well
do you think they will add the singing sword in fable 2
