Re: where did it go?

In a wierd kind of way. No. I don't want Singing Sword in Fable II. Maybe it wouldn't live up to my expectations? Maybe the way of getting it is far too easy? Maybe it isn't at all like we imagined it, maybe the Bards got nothing to do with it?!

Naaah. I'd prefer if it'd stay as the "Great Mystery of Fable", instead.

Re: where did it go?

I think the bards have something to do with it, considering there are a bunch of quests in each town that remain unactive, like the Beggar and bully. I see them all sorts of places on maps, but I never see them there in my game.

I've also seen "QTalentlessbard" Which was underneath "Qmayors invitation" soo I do believe it was supposed to exist
I just don't think it was supposed to look like the "picture" that floats around the internet.

Yeah i know what you mean by that, it might be better left as a myth...

Exactly - so if the Singing Sword was found in a random loot chest - no background, no nothing, I'd be extremely dissapointed.

Yeah I hope they do away with the random chest full of legendary weapons. I found something in the game that was some what of a test. It had saw blades and such. I think that's what the demon doors should've been. Little side dungeons that has a cool *** weapon at the end for you.

Re: where did it go?

i no what your getting at no mystery but what about in fable 2 there was a mystery hmm well doesn't seem to be enything else

Re: where did it go?

I thought I read that Peter Molyneux said that a good part of the game is the heroes search for a sword. I agree with Tsuyu, if it were in Fable 2 then it would be either too powerful or not powerful enough. Maybe for fun it could be something that you can get after the main game is over and it can cleave buildings.

Re: where did it go?

I can pretty much see the sword of Aeons/Avo's Tear make a come-back though. I've just gotten outta bed, but if my memory servers me correct: Isn't the hero of Fable II a decendant of the original Hero?

"Oh noes, a big evil is wrecking havoc! Find the sword of your ancestor and defeat this evil!".

Though this really makes for some sort of feature with loads original Fable saves into Fable II to determine if this ancestor of yours were evil or not, Sword of Aeons or Avo's Tear.
