Where is the spire or how do I get the quest????

I want to know because they keep saying when you retern from the spire your baby can grow up or something so where is it???

Do the Crucible then you can go to Spire.

As the above user said, just do the main storyline. Follow your main quests and eventually you will be forced to do it.
