Which of these guns should I use? (The Enforcer vs. The Perforator)

Which of these guns should I use? (The Enforcer vs. The Perforator)

I have Giles' old blunderbuss "The Enforcer" and also "The Perforator" and I have no idea which to use. The item list says that The Perforator is (Best) and it has three green dots while The Enforcer only has two, but it has a low 81.0 damage rate unlike The Enforcer with more than double that (177.0). So far The Enforcer is the best, no question, but where The Perforator has ammo capacity of 6, reload time of 0.75 (second, I'm guessing?) and a wide range of 60.0 The Enforcer only has the capacity for one bullet at a time, a slower reload time of 1.0 and a minimal range of 20.0...

Also, the augments in The Perforator are "Fear Itself" (not so good when I'm playing good, maybe?), "Disciplinem" and "Barkskin" while The Enforcer has "Barkskin" and "Lucky Charm" augments.

So, which one of these two guns should I choose? Please don't answer with lots and lots of 'if's, just tell which is the best gun. xD

I used Enforcer till I got a Red Dragon.

I prefer my loyal pistol, the Red Dragon (which I consider to be the ultimate BEST gun in the game)

real fast:

the enforcer has to reload after every shot but reloads pretty fast and deals ALOT of damage...

the perforator can shoot quite fast, has a longer range and only has to reload after a couple of shots, but reloading takes a long time then...

my choice would be the perforator... but thats just my playstyle... you should check for yourself and pick the one you like best...

and perhaps you should try out the red dragon, it rocks :)

The perforator is sexy and useful until you get the red dragon.

Perforator doesn't get the quick reload bonus which = fail.

Enforcer is a souped up shotgun that DOES get the quick reload bonus = Win.

Red Dragon = MegaPWN

Is the Red Dragon really that good? And if it is, where do I get it? I have it on another char but I got that from some random (I think) Xbox Live "friend" who just gave it to me, for some reason. Never knew how to actually get it myself...

I much prefer master flintlock rifle, one shot per second, thats all I need. One shot one kill. ;)

You get it from the Shooting Gallery game. 175+ gets you the Red Dragon.

I'd see if my Live was working but i'm playing my Khajiit named Scooby on ES4 : (

EDIT2: I remember having like, 20, and would give one but my moms internet hates my 360.

well... go to the westcliff shooting range and score 175 points or more

the keeper will give you a trophy (a special bullet) and the red dragon

and yes, it really is that good... shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger and deals 41 damage (I believe) per shot...

shoots about 6-8 shots before it has to reload (real briefly) which means you can pull off about 240 - 320 damage in about 3 seconds...

Red Dragon gets even better once you become a true master of wailing on the RT :D 20 shots in 3 seconds rools.

use both and switch them as the situation warrants. perferator for long range, enforcer for close. remember a blunderbus is basicly a shotgun so its usless as long range.

Dunno, I got quite a few head shots with it lol, from way back. Pure luck? Probably, i've also heard the Rammer was decent from long range ( I never took to it ).

Yeah, that's a great gun, especially with 4 augs of my choosing. :D

Red dragon is weak but fast. The Enforcer is my choice, that and the red dragon are my favs.

red dragon deals 41 damage per shot (I think) its not weak at all!

if you're good at it, you can easily outshoot the enforcer

if you would try this: standing right in front of your enemy (with unlimited health) and shooting as fast as you can with the dragon in 5 seconds, you could probably own the enforcer...

imagine if the target's about 5 meter away.. the enforcer would only do a part of his damage whilst the dragon would keep on going!

I use the Red Dragon and/or a Master Flintlock pistol with the best augments.
