Which path would be the best?

Hi all,

I may have just registered but I have read posts on these Forums a long time and it really helped me out. Now I have a question for my own.

What are the pro's and con's regarding saving the Temple of Light or Destroying it? I need to make a decision but I can't make one.
This is going to be my 7th or so character and I want this one to be my real character. I have played the game a lot to see all the consequences.

I'm really thinking about just doing the same as my very first character (because the first is almost always the best choice you make).

Let's give you guys a summary;
I'm a Pure Evil guy.
I have helped out the Guard.
I will help out Barnum.
I'm (of course) planning to buy every single house.
And I'm willing to improve all the surroundings.

But the thing is, I don't want to lose the Temple of Shadows. But when I destroy the Temple of Light, Oakfield will look like ****...
Then again, I never cared about Oakfield (Oakvale was awesome nonetheless. But thats gone now).

So I am asking your opinions.
And while you're on it, why don't explain your own choices?

Well, if you save the Temple of Light, you will be awarded with an expanded version of the Temple. This includes the part where you can buy the temple.
However, if you join the Temple of Shadows, and destroy the Temple of Light, it doesn't really expand the property of the Temple of Shadows. I suggest saving the Temple of Light. Also, when saving them, you get a (bonus?) quest.

Don't be afraid to lost the Temple of Shadows. Of course, there won'tbe any more shadow summoners, but "wild animals" instead. The Temple of Shadows stays as is.
You will, of course, when saving the Temple of Light, gain good points, but don't worry; you can easily alter that, once you rent your properties.
Helping out Barnum is something you must do. That is, if you want the bridge to be remade, and Westcliff to be expanded. If you're willing to improve all the surroundings, including the inhabited locations, don't destroy the temple of light. You should also help Barnum with investing the 5,000 gold for Westcliff.

pretty much you got all the info you needed from DetaHero, i suggest you do what he says if you want what ever, but meh choose what you like, i chose the temple of light because i am a nice guy and i like oakfeld but meh you decide what you want to do.

save it, you get a better wep and the temple looks better after you come back from spire

I was pure evil, but i saved the Temple of Light.

Why?

I wanted all the achievements, and for some of them you need good points, donating money gets you a ton of good points, while the shadow temple offers nothing

The Temple of Light expands, while Temple of Shadows does not.

You lose Oakfield and all the property in it, i like owning oakfield, its a good place to have when your going for the King title.

I hope you choose ToL also, it is the best choice, you will never use the ToS after the Spire, EVER. And you will lose property and the chance to change to good at any time, do you really want to give it up?

But its your decision.

I always buy the temple of light. I help them, so I can buy it. I always play good.
I guess it depends on, what you want your game to be.:neo:

And just in time! I completed about every quest before going to the spire now, except the ones with the temple.
Ill save the temple and go on with getting a better world!

Also, good luck with saving the Temple of Light! I bet you'll like the new Temple of Light "version", and the new temple of which you can buy!
