Who Said Gamerscore Got You Nothing?
Pretty awesome and kinda lame

The amount of times I've rolled through unsuspecting forums with forumites bashing the whole achievement system and how it's pointles because there is no reward at the end of it (we'll ignore the whole instant gratification issue for this post). Well today, gamerscore powerhouse Stallion83 posted on his blog that he was due to make an appearance in the Guinness World Book of Records for having the world's highest gamerscore ... so that's a big "boo-yah" to all those naysayers.
Stallion comments that he'll be recognised in the "2010 Gamer's Edition for having the highest gamerscore in the world" and goes on to muse that he was "very excited about receiving a record for something that I enjoy doing."
The points machine, who currently sits top of the tree with 317,493 points, goes on to comment, "I don't know how long I can hold the record, but I am going to 1 million. Maybe 1 million will be the Guinness world record in 2016."
Pretty awesome and kinda lame
