Who's With Rose?

I know we do not actually know, but, who do you guys think Rose is with? The man who's name she keeps forgetting?

*Sigh* This has been discussed so many times before, but fine.

The only two plausible options are Jack of Blades and Scythe. This is my reasoning for why it is Scythe, and not Jack of Blades:

(These are quotes from Rose's letter.)

...there's someone here that says he knows us, says he knows our family...He's very thin and wears a hood and looks scary...

That could all apply to Jack or Scythe, so I'll leave it alone.

I think he's a King or something.

Scythe is definitely more of a king than Jack was. He was the first Archon, after all. Jack only shared the power over what would later become Albion with the Knight and Queen of Blades, and if anyone was the leader of those three, it would most likely be the Knight because he was the first one we see wielding the Sword of Aeons.

...he's nice and I feel safe with him here.

This quote almost needs no explaining. An evil being like Jack wouldn't make anyone feel comfortable or safe. Scythe would. He's a Hero.

both of his voices sound evil, his normal voice being creepy and his demonic voice being just plain scary, so rose wouldn't find him very nice.

i say it's jack. i don't feel like explaining it all again so here's what i said in another topic about this.

we have a spire that can bring people back from the dead, and the person in control was personally involved when the hero of oakvale defeated him.
i fail to see where your absolute certainty is coming from

and scythe....does not look like a king any more than eddy the iron maiden zombie.
no little girl in their right mind would 'feel safe' around something that looks like that :lol:

I woke up today in such a peculiar place. It's like a great big forest, with lots and lots of trees that go on forever. I was scared at first because I couldn't find you, but there's someone here who says he knows us. Says he knows our family. He told me his name, but I keep forgetting it. Weird. I think he's a king or something. He's very thin and wears a hood and looks scary, but he's nice and I feel safe with him here. I hope you're okay Little Sparrow. Somehow I know that it's all going to be alright, and we'll be together again one day. He promised me.

• "he says he knows our family." that's a very curious way of phrasing it. we all know jack and his obsession to the hero bloodline.
• jack is thin. he may wear a hood, mask, and robe. but without them he would likely be at most average size.
• to a kid, that mask would definitely be scary. and guess whose voice the letter was written in? a childs.
• jack wears a hood, scythe doesn't.
• she "felt safe" around the stranger. jack knew how to sway a crowd. he had the kingdom worshipping him. the arena had him on a pedestal when you met him.
• "we'll all" (that is, you, your family, and this stranger) "be together soon". bringing the family together, uniting the bloodline.

jack may not be scary to an adult...but the letter was also read in a childs voice. this would absolutely scare a child.

i didn't think jack was a villain at first... he was a celebrity to all of albion when you first encounter him!

Well, but Scythe could easily get a hood, to hide his face.

He is scary.

And he knows your family.

Scythe is also very thin, because he is possibly an undead being and doesn't eat.

He doesn't have to look like a king to have been one. The fact is that he was a king, and Jack wasn't.

He looks just as scary as Jack would look to a child. He's a Hero, a "good guy." He would make Rose feel more safe than Jack would, even if Jack was trying to play her.

Scythe would know the family better than Jack. He did start the Heroic bloodline, after all.

Well seeing as how you've already addressed the fact that Scythe is scary, I don't think this quote needs much of a rebuttal.

Scythe has a hood attached to his robe, but just doesn't wear it in TLC. It is entirely possible that he could be wearing it now.

Once again...

Jack no longer has any use for the Archon's bloodline. The Sword of Aeons is long gone. Scythe would have more motivation to reunite Rose with Sparrow. They are his own family. He would want them to be together, and to be happy.

yes for the last time it is scythe. Scythe is the only hero in fable 1 that is not killiable ( jack, theresa, twinblade, thunder, whisper, briar rose, scarlet robe, guildmaster, nostro are all killable) if you try to attack him he replies : your attacks are TOO WEAK

he DOES HAVE A HOOD he just DOESNT PUT IT UP!

he is scary because in the days when he was known as william black he entered the void ( realm of the court of jack the knight and the queen of blades) and when he exited the void it deformed his face. When william black came back from the void he gave himself the title of ARCHON and was made king of albion. But when he left his throne he left in goldchainmail with a blue cloak. All evidence points to scythe. So you guys thinking its jack, its not! ill even show evidence to show why its NOT JACK! sure the people of albion sort of thought jack was a hero because he won the arena long ago. But guess what? hes not friendly, and if he was with rose he would probably keep her locked up so she wouldnt escape! and jack looks nothing like a king, he has only one name, and he never was and NEVER WILL BE A KING! because we kicked his ass and threw his mask into the abyss to prevent him from ruling albion in fable 1! but scythe never died did he? he is immortal and always will be! end of discussion!

even if people argue about him not having a hood, its explainable as to why he would have one now. it's quite obvious that he would acquire a hood, seeing as he's an undead/immortal/archon/old king of albion/hero/hero bloodline starter/ i don't think he wants his face to be seen. reason 1 being, fear. hes undead. that's enough to scare plenty of people. reason 2 is: some people would probably be over-joyed to have him back, causing a lot of publicity, causing it to be unsafe for him, thus it would be unsafe for Rose, which he would obviously not want.

hes not undead. His face was deformed after his fight with the queen of blades in the void. That times thousands of years of age makes his face like that.

I hate it when ppl say hes with jack. HES NOT! and also to end this argument, Where in albion do you think rose and scythe are? a lot have speculated memory lane but i beg to differ. I think they are in the northern wastes or something

yea but that picture of JOB u quoted isnt what he looks like in fable, and the fact that people looked up to him in the arena and saw him as a hero makes me feel like he isn't that scary..

how is that AUTOMATICALLY make you think its jack? that makes no sense.

Its like: hmm okay, thin, old, scary beggining to sound like scythe, promise they would meet someday... OOO ITS JACK!!!!

and its not spooky, he just promises she will see her little brother again someday. Maybe when they die and go to heaven. I dunno, but i know for sure it aint jack:realmad:

Jack no longer has a reason to reunite the Archon's bloodline. He needed them for the Sword of Aeons, which is long gone. Scythe is part of their family. He would have more of a reason to reunite Rose and Sparrow than Jack would.

exactly. The only reason jack was after the sword of aeons was because it was originally his. Willam Black ( aka Archon, AKA scythe) stole it from jack in the void, and the sword spoke to him, agreeing to kill jack and the court with william.


So jack was reuniting the hero of oakvales family to get their blood for the sword. And when he got it he would be happy, because he thought he would be strong with a 230 sword damage.


He thought wrong because he went through all the trouble of centuries looking for a sword, requiring blood, and runes activated.

When he could just go to bowerstone north and buy the solus greatsword for 70 thousand and put sharpening augments in it to make it stronger.

i agree with the northern waste, i think fable 3 just going to give you the path to go there. Just assuming this as when in the loading screen you get *The northern waste have been lost bla bla bla but its still possible to get by if you find the right safe path* or something like that
