i agree with the northern waste, i think fable 3 just going to give you the path to go there. Just assuming this as when in the loading screen you get *The northern waste have been lost bla bla bla but its still possible to get by if you find the right safe path* or something like that

only flaw with the northern waste theory is that: rose said she was in a place where to trees go on forever. Northern wastes is covered with snow and not a single green plant there. northern WASTES because its a wasteland. Nothing grows from it being so cold. But who knows, maybe after the original fable, the snow and ice melted and it became the northern oasis :P

Re: Who's With Rose?

i haven't checked this thread in a while. so necromancer, i have replies to our debate
second, little sparrow, quit with the raging? people are allowed to think what they want. there wouldn't be a topic called "who's with rose?" if we all agreed with you. get over yourself because yes, that's right, we disagree.

He doesn't have to look like a king to have been one. The fact is that he was a king, and Jack wasn't.
that cannot be proven. jack supposedly lived before man even existed, if a king ever put on the mask then that would make jack a king.

Necromancer11;354634 said:
He looks just as scary as Jack would look to a child. He's a Hero, a "good guy." He would make Rose feel more safe than Jack would, even if Jack was trying to play her.
well, there's no evidence to support either theory. it was a bad point on my part, apologies.

Necromancer11;354634 said:
Scythe would know the family better than Jack. He did start the Heroic bloodline, after all.
again, debatable. jack studied the hero bloodline from every angle. he was obsessed with it.

Necromancer11;354634 said:
Scythe is thin and has a hood too. The letter doesn't say anything about a robe or mask.
fair enough, the letter supports both theories here.

Necromancer11;354634 said:
Scythe has a hood attached to his robe, but just doesn't wear it in TLC. It is entirely possible that he could be wearing it now.
if you're suggesting he's wearing the same robe as 300 years ago, then i guess so.

Necromancer11;354634 said:
Jack no longer has any use for the Archon's bloodline. The Sword of Aeons is long gone. Scythe would have more motivation to reunite Rose with Sparrow. They are his own family. He would want them to be together, and to be happy.
again debatable. we don't know if jack would be done with the hero bloodline, and we don't know if scythe would give 2 sh**s about his descendants (assuming that he is william black).

you are all saying with such certainty that jack has no reason to meet with the bloodline and archon does. jacks sword was stolen, and he was killed by the bloodline. that sounds like a good motivation for revenge, don't it?

and also, for those of you arguing that it couldn't be jack because he's dead. the spire returns life! it brought back the thousands killed by lucien, and theresa is in control of it. and i'm pretty sure that most of us don't trust theresa.
:P

I just don't like her is all.
Why would Theresa bring back the one who cut out her eyes, killed her mother and father and pretty much everyone else she loved?
That doesn't sound reasonable at all!
She might be crooked, scary looking, mysterious and all that - but to bring back the one who caused her all that pain? - no F-ing way dude^_^

ehh, she's also not a normal human being.
if her ulterior motive included bringing jack back from the dead, i would bet all the red dragons and daichis in the world that she would without hesitation.

Good point but considering that Rose was dead for so long, and sycthe is able to cross the void *atleast i belive so* maybe Rose is still in a cross between the fable world and the void for her body to be prepared as she was dead for so long.

Re: Who's With Rose?

I have a feeling that Theresa is in control of the whole story. I think that she's the one who told Lucien where Garth was so that the Hero would be late and Garth would be captured so the Hero would spend 10+ years in The Spire so that it would soon be finished. It just seems like Theresa is in control of it all. I wouldn't be surprised if she "killed" Lucien's wife and daughter, knowing he would go crazy and start building The Spire but would have to stop him because his wish would probably destroy her because she's pretty much Chaos. So bringing back Jack for her own use isn't that far-fetched in my eyes, though we'd have to see what she has in store for the future.

I don't know why I deviated so far from the subject, I guess I'm just trying to "prove" that Theresa's crazy...or just share a thought...sorry

Re: Who's With Rose?

LOL How many times has this been discussed?

No Theresa is not a normal human being.
You didn't answer my question though..

Why would she bring Jack back from the dead?
It makes absolutely no sense at all!

Sure IF she had a hidden agenda which included bringing Jack back, she probably would - BUT!!!
What do you see that suggests Theresa would ever bring back Jack? O.o

lol you just restated my answer. we all know she has ulterior motives- probably evil ones at that... i can't present an answer to that as it would have to be provided in the event that i'm right...namely you'll have to beat fable 3 to know.
don't mind me, i'm just predicting

yes but thats something stupid to say. So u gotta have a theory to back it up. Imagine this. Its your birthday, and terrorists raid your city. The leader of the gang is a serial killer who kills your dad, and takes your mother to a prison where he can torture her, but before doing that, he cuts out your eyes and leaves you to die. You get rescued luckily, by a bandit king, but you dont know if your brother and mother are alive or not. So eventually years later, you reunite with your brother, and you manage to rescue your mother from the prison with ur bro. Only when you think you can get revenge on the serial killer, he takes you and your mother away, and sends a henchman ( maze) to kill your brother. After, you find out ur bro killed the henchman, but now the serial killer is going to finish the job with the most powerful weapon in the world. Not before killing your mother. Luckily your bro kills the SoB. Now. After someone who has made your life a living hell, and killed your parents, and brought you and your brother grief, and sorrow. WHY WOULD YOU BRING HIM BACK TO LIFE????

WHY I ASK YOU????

i have no clue!! if anything i would be praying everyday that he WOULDNT come back to life!!!!! someone who killed my family and is now dead, i would want to remain dead.

Re: Who's With Rose?

That has nothing to do with it, you're failing to be open-minded about the situation. Theresa is too powerful to fear someone like Jack anymore. If she were to bring Jack back, she would be in control of his life, just like he was in control of your life in Fable 2. She wouldn't bring him back if she couldn't use him, and we're talking about a situation of her actually bringing him back for some unknown use to fulfill her plans for whatever.

I don't really know why I'm arguing this because I don't really think it's Jack (but it's being open to the possible situation). I don't think they're going to bring him back anyway, they're pretty creative enough as to not recycle characters. But there's always some creativity in bringing back characters in a unique and interesting way.

in all honesty i'm amazed you missed my theory. i'll put it bluntly so you understand.
A) the character in roses letter resembles jack... now before you argue that it's scythe and get your panties in a bunch again, the letter provides incentive for both.
B) theresa is untrustworthy, she revives jack.
C) jack tries to exact revenge on the hero bloodline for his defeat by the hero of oakvale.
D) kill jack, kill theresa

oh yeah, and your theory for the plot you posted didn't sound very plausible to me :P
