He doesn't have to look like a king to have been one. The fact is that he was a king, and Jack wasn't.
that cannot be proven. jack supposedly lived before man even existed, if a king ever put on the mask then that would make jack a king.

He looks just as scary as Jack would look to a child. He's a Hero, a "good guy." He would make Rose feel more safe than Jack would, even if Jack was trying to play her.
well, there's no evidence to support either theory. it was a bad point on my part, apologies.

Scythe would know the family better than Jack. He did start the Heroic bloodline, after all.
again, debatable. jack studied the hero bloodline from every angle. he was
obsessed with it.

Scythe is thin and has a hood too. The letter doesn't say anything about a robe or mask.
fair enough, the letter supports both theories here.

Scythe has a hood attached to his robe, but just doesn't wear it in TLC. It is entirely possible that he could be wearing it now.
if you're suggesting he's wearing the same robe as 300 years ago, then i guess so.

Jack no longer has any use for the Archon's bloodline. The Sword of Aeons is long gone. Scythe would have more motivation to reunite Rose with Sparrow. They are his own family. He would want them to be together, and to be happy.
again debatable. we don't know if jack would be done with the hero bloodline, and we don't know if scythe would give 2 sh**s about his descendants (assuming that he is william black).
