Wisdom teeth extraction, yeah!

Today at roughly 7:30 in the morning, I had all four wisdom teeth cut out. I thought it was going to be a living hell, but it really wasn't that bad.

So, how many of you have had yours cut out? Share your experiences!

I had all 4 of mine taken out roughly 2 years ago. hurt like a bitch after all the drugs wore off. they gave me pain pills but they just made me totally messed up, tired, and sick so I stuck with the pain. I asked them to keep the teeth intact and let me have them so they did. those beasts went in the gum 2-3 times farther than they stuck out above the gum. I think they normaly cut them into pieces when they take them out, so keeping them whole might have had something to with them hurting like hell.

the major pain wore off within a day or two, then it just hurt a little for about a week. after two weeks it was pretty mutch all healed. remember to keep it clean and rinse your mouth a lot. lukewarm water with epsom salt works great to clean the wounds and dull the pain.

But Im glad they are gone now, on the bottom ones the gums were starting to grow over the top of them, and they were getting in the way of chewing and stuff.

i had all 4 of mine taken out in gr.9 (5 years ago).
it took a lot of drugs to put me down i even woke up once while they where taking out a tooth no joke.
i did not feel any thing but i heard it, it was like some one was ripping velcro in my mouth
i still have the teeth
i dont remember how i got home

Some people hate it. Some people get drugged up for the first time and are in heaven. My mom was the latter. My 2 friends not so much.

I didn't have to have mine taken out - they took about 8 teeth out during my childhood because of overcrowding and it meant there was plenty of room for my wisdom teeth to get through. As it is I only have 26 adult teeth instead of the usual 32...

When you get one pulled out it feels like the dentist is trying to pull your skull out through your mouth...

I do. :P In fact, the surgeon was surprised that I was as coherent as I was so soon; I was easily able to walk, communicate, etc.

I've never had mine taking out.. Which is good.. I guess? But then again I dont want to get them taken out when im Older haha.

HAH! Like on "Tha Hangover" when he gets dared to pull his own tooth out. Crack up! :lol:
