Some people are crazy. Wonder if it had anything to do with the film - the gas mask part Bane sprung to mind.
 
A friend text me saying the guy had a mask on like bane but I didnt read that in any of the stories so could be made up, still crazy, saying at least 6 dead ranging from like 7 or 9. Worlds messed up



- still sorta hoping it'l turn out to be a hoax XD

Some poor 6 year old was shot absolutely terrible
 
Heard it on the radio earlier and when they said Gas Mask I thought of Bane but then they said he used a smoke grenade of some sort so might merely have been as a way for him to avoid inhaling the smoke rather than being Batman inspired. Were also rumours he was wearing night vision goggles too.
 
aye seen a few rumors now myself, still crazy like, gas mask, smoke grenade - and hes told the police his house is armed with bombs - may or may not be true but the police are being cautious before they try to search his house
 
He also shot a 3-month old baby at point blank range. 12 killed, 38 wounded.

**** sake, you can't even go to see the godamn Batman without getting shot up, what the hell is wrong with people in my country?

I mean, you get people like Breivik occasionally outside of the U.S, but over there you have school shootings and crazy stuff like this constantly.

I wonder if the NRA are gonna have a rally after this, like they did Columbine...
 
Yeah, we do get them often enough to the point where one ought to be used to it, but it only makes me more disappointed in what goes on over here.

They say people kill people, not guns, but it was the gun that made everything so easy for him and allowed the body and injury count to rise. I don't think people who adamantly defend guns realize that, sure, it requires a messed up person to cause so much damage with a gun, but if there were no guns available to him the count wouldn't be nearly as high and he might not have gone through with it at all (there's only so much you can do with a melee weapon).
 
This cinema deserves a better class of criminal.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened and it certainly won't be the last, stuff like this just shows how everything is fine your going to see a movie one moment, the next about a dozen people are lying dead because some crazy bastard had to have his fun. What a f***ed up world we live in, it's things like this that makes me hate the human race so much. Can't even go to watch a movie without the fear if having your head blown off anymore.
 
Aside from the fact it's this easy to get a gun in the U.S - you can't solely blame anything like the NRA. It may be illegal over here to have a firearm, but it's amazing how easily people can still get their hands on them. Look at Raoul Moat who went on a killing spree with a shotgun here in the UK.

This case does make you think of Bane, but like Drakan said, it's more likely he was just wearing the gas mask due to the smoke grenade he threw. It is very sad, and the fact that he opened fire on a 3-month-old and a 6-year-old is truly disgraceful. I'm getting the feeling he may have been related to the military somehow, having a gun is easy but a smoke grenade and possible night-vision goggles? Madness.
 
I don't blame the NRA other for being insensitive dickwads when it comes to tragedies like this.

He really gave it all to get some attention. I guess random shootouts in the streets don't have it any more. Or picking up a guitar.

I agree, its unfortunate that its getting so much attention, the bas***ed didnt put up a fight when being arrested - obvious he wanted media attention

Buddy, If psychotic aliens invaded, resurrected Hitler and teamed up with him then demanded the lives of over 9000 infants from the world's population as a blood tribute you would still see people making memes about it within the hour, if there's one thing I've learned from the Internet it's that nothing is sacred...period.

So I just heard on the radio that the police are still trying to disarm every explosive in his apparentment. Just how many explosives did he freakin' rig?

Also, apparently, he got all the things he used off the Internet.
