Now I was a big fan of the first in the series and had nearly lost all hope that sequel would eventually be put into the works, but lo' and behold they have answered my, and alot of the other people's pleas for a sequel . . .

I was impressed with the gameplay that I saw from Crackdown 2 during my short demo. From the base jumping from the top of massive buildings to the enjoyment of climbing those same structures, the second in the series looks like it's going to bring a similarly destructive feel to the first. Now if they had only let me hop into one of those damn helicopters for myself, then there could have been some real havoc within Pacific City.

Crackdown 2 is scheduled to launch later this year, though the timing wasn't set in stone as of this writing. We'll have more coverage on this exciting follow-up to one of my favorite Xbox 360 games in the coming months, so be sure to keep checking IGN.com.

Crackdown 2 sees you return to Pacific City which is a plus and it seems it isn't only gangs that are spreading themselves throughout the city since the first in the series.

I believe this is also the boxart. Is pretty sweet

I wanted to write something on this also but I wasn't sure if other people shared my enthusiasm for this game, so I said forget it. Ty froggy for this post. ^^ I played the first crackdown and thought it was amazing! IMO Crackdown>Grand Theft Auto(all of them, yes!). This took almost an hour cause my scanner is small and the pages kept getting f*%!?@ up but I think you will appreciate this froggy and maybe anyone else who like crackdown.
