Xbox 360 Controller Help.

1) I used a Wireless controller because it came free with my Xbox. My Dad bought me a Charge & Play Kit thinking it would be better when it came to changinh batteries and s**t. It broke. The red light doesn't come on to say it's charging and my controller has now ran out of juice. According to Microsoft Support, the battery is broken and should be disposed of correctly..

Does anyone know how to fix it?

2) Since it was buggered, I picked up my Madcatz wired controller and started to use that. So I plugged it in and guess what? Doesn't connect.

I tried pressing the white button on the 360, turning off the console THEN plugging it in and turning it back on.. Nothing's working. It worked fine at Christmas and Easter..

Once again, how do I fix it?

Reppo for anyone who can help. I wanna play Gears goddammit.

Re: Xbox 360 Controller Help.

Try pressing the white button on the wireless controller and 360. By the way, don't buy Madkatz.

If you're persistent with plugging in the play and charge kit you might get it right after a while.

Re: Xbox 360 Controller Help.

My wireless one works fine. The Charge and Play kit is just.. mangled.

The Madcatz controller was also a present.

If no one has any solutions, I could buy another Charge and Play kit for £12 since 360 controllers are waaaaay to expensive.

Re: Xbox 360 Controller Help.

Take back your current one and demand a refund. When they try to divert your attention, say you'll be willing to trade for a working one.

It tends to work every time..

Re: Xbox 360 Controller Help.

My Dad bought from an independent shop in Newcastle. I live 350 miles away with that shop nowhere to be seen..

Bad luck, huh?

Re: Xbox 360 Controller Help.

Always buy official products, if faulty return to the place you got it from and exchange it. If the store is to far away just email them (most have websites with contact us sections) and see if you can post it out and if they will post you a replacement.
