Xbox 360 DLC before or after I beat the game?

Im going to buy the see the future and knothole premium DLC for fable 2. Only question; Should i do it before i start playing at all or is it intended for after iv already beat the game?

I tend to buy DLC before hand so I can slot into the DLC at the time it was meant to slot into the game.
