Okay so I haven't seen a general music thread on here in a while. So, what music have you been listening to lately?

Personally I've been brushing up on my old interest in simply red, feels good to dig up these old treasures, especially when I haven't heard them in ages.

I've been gorging myself on Chick Corea. Nothing new there. Listened to his album Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy most recently.

Always the top one. The others are just currently listening to from time to time.
Say what you will, but for me that first one is the most raging track ever recorded. Nothing has been able to get that much noise in under 5 minutes since.

Nothing really new for me either. I like most kinds of rock, though I don't really listen to a massive array of artists. It's been mostly Led Zeppelin and The Strokes for me as usual. Ize of the World is my favorite Strokes song overall, but based on sound alone, Machu Picchu is my favorite song they've done.

And yes, Ize of the World is supposed to cut off at the end.

And finally, as I've said before, Stairway to Heaven is my favorite song of all time. Not the most unique choice, I know, but whatever, I can't help what I like. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Umm, I listen to just about everything out there, but enjoy most the likes of Ambient, Downtempo, Jazz, Drum 'n' Bass, Thrash Metal, Disco, Synth, 80s J-Pop and anything else 80s.

Still my favorite downtempo/ambient track and favorite in general:

I love that the track incorporates a web of other genre elements without going overboard and still keeping its nice flow. Sadly, Puchi will forever remain unknown to the masses.. or almost anyone for that matter.

Meh, Stairway is a badass song. Doesn't matter if its not unique, it's still awesome.
