You make the game...
I wasn't really sure if I should put this thread here or in the gaming forum...but anyway, I was just wondering...if you were approached by a software company to create a new video game, what would your game be like? Keep in mind, I'm intending for this to be a somewhat serious thread. You can describe a humorous game, if that's the direction you would go, but please don't respond with something just random and/or ridiculous.
As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to create an open-ended RPG with zombies and the video game equivalent of several cities to explore. Your character, at first, would be tasked with quests dedicated to destroying as much of the undead menace as possible.
However, during the course of the game, you would find that whatever resources you may get from different characters are not infinite in number. For example, just because a character may be able to sell you ammunition, once you buy a certain number of rounds (for a shotgun, let's say), that character would run out of bullets of that type.
Additionally, if your character would be bitten or killed by the zombies, you would rise as one of them and start new quests dedicated to zombie domination. That said, once your "zombie self" was killed, the game would be over.
Any other ideas?
