Its sort of bad and mean but not evil........is it?

Sounds evil to me.

Chaotic Evil, to be precise.

neutral would be doing something either good or evil because someone was paying you to do so

Uhm no. That would still be good/evil - killing one person to save a billion is still an evil act - the slaying of the one person, eventhough saving the billion is a good one. See where I am going with this?

An evil act is an evil act, no matter the motivations, as a good deed is still a good deed no matter the motivations.

But killing a evil person is a good act and vise versa?

Re: your Fable 2 character

my guy will be like Lucien (the new bady in Fable 2)....damn i love that name....ill be cruel....not evil.....cruel....ill use a long sword, and a pisto, and my enemies will have more holes in them then the plot to a Nicholas Cage movie (i thank FableFreak for the NC quote)

Not really - this is a flaw in the original Fable if you ask me.

Killing someone simply because they are "evil" is as 'good' as killing an "innocent" - you are taking the most valuable someone has, their life - a very, very veeery evil thing to do.

Now, killing an "evil" person to stop him or her from doing something very evil, like taking someone else's life - would be a good deed.

The world isn't black and white where you just kill the bad guys.

You think it'll be like that in Falbe 2?

I don't know, but I hope.

For example, knocking off a bandit in self-defense should not net you some good points. Knocking off a bandit that is hitting a cowering man or woman, on the other hand, should net you some!

Hells, even attacking any non-aggresive enemy (like passive bandits, perhaps standing around a campfire partying) should net you some evil points.

Yes, this would make "backstabbing rogues" evil over time, but I reck'n their whole "backstabbing" is quite an evil way of fighting - you are after all attacking someone who isn't attacking you, making it assault for you and only self-defense for the victim, no matter if he is "evil" or "good".

Even more so it would be a huge improvment of the rather basic and "black and white"-alignment system of Fable and Fable:TLC.

Re: your Fable 2 character

yeah...i dont like the system of alignment in fable...and ya know what else i dont like? the dramatic changes when ur character is full good or evil....i mean....the hero fights monsters and or kills innocents ect...but that doesnt mean that normal villagers dont do good deeds every day...and u dont see them getting halos or friggin light coming donw from the skiea above them...

Well, it is a rather well-known fact that Fable focused too little on the world around the Hero, and a tad bit too much on the Hero himself.

Re: your Fable 2 character

random question but you think you'll be able to take a human hostage like put a gun to there head, hold em and say "gimmi the loot or the kid dies!" watch out for the snipers like, woo that was a fun day for my squad

...damn, moment again

yeah, that was a mistake.

Re: your Fable 2 character

id like to keep a bunch of hostages in a cabin...then stand my ground inside and threaten to blow up the place with gun powder if they don't had me over the cash....not like they could stop me anyway:ninja:

Re: your Fable 2 character

Treathen people instead of killing them would be cool.Like if you robbed a store or something and someone(like the gards) come in and innterupt you you could raise your gun and treathen to shoot, thene he might surender and you dont have to kill people all the time.....

Re: your Fable 2 character

i'd have the same character i have in fable, hench as thunder and packing a big sword as well as a big gun, also i think it would be a idea if you could use your gun as a melee weapon you know if you get rushed by bandits etc, you could hit them with the butt or pistol whip them.

Re: your Fable 2 character

Like usual, I will be evil, no sense, in letting all that fun go to waste ;).
