Zombie Apocalypse

So, I went out today. But before I left this morning, I turned off my computer.
The house was empty all day.

I came home around nine PM, and after getting settled, I sat at my desk and turned on my computer. While it was booting up, I happened to look down at my keyboard. One of my Alt keys was missing...

My first reaction was "wtf..." and then I looked around on the floor for it.
I found it under my sofa, about two feet away.

I have NO idea how this happened.
But I would like you all to post similar stories about unexplainable events.
Aaand, go!

Re: Zombie Apocalypse

um how does a missing alt key have to do anything with a zombie apocalypse?

I gotta second that notion... But one time I had a Blue Oyster Cult CD and I went out one day and nobody was home, came home, and it was gone. I've never seen it since, and it's been 4 years.

Re: Zombie Apocalypse

Zombie apocalypse recently took place in my city and all along the coast as well. We had super rain that flooded everyone and brought seventy MPH winds that knocked down trees/telephone poles. Like sixty two thousand people had no electricity. Even the traffic lights were out. It was pure chaos and to me, that's close enough to a zombie apocalypse.

Re: Zombie Apocalypse

My Saints Row 2 disc. I put it in its case back in June '09 and it was put in my wardrobe along with Prince of Persia and Devil May Cry 4. I was moving around my bedroom and stuck my games in there for the time being. Two or three months later, I pull those three games out of my wardrobe. Saints Row 2 wasn't in the case.

Last week, I find it on my shelf. By BioShock. Seriously? What the hell?

Except the part where there are no zombies involved whatsoever?

Pens, markers, and pencils end up disappearing and later being found under the couch, refrigerator, stove, washer, and dryer...

Turns out it was our cat who steals them, and has his own private collection of 30+ bottle caps.

That would be the greatest surprise ever. :)
